Catalog description

Supervised student teaching in a K-12 special education setting. Students are expected to demonstrate refining knowledge and skills in the areas of appropriate assessment strategies, lesson planning, implement instructional strategies, and utilize behavior management systems and programs. Emphasis on the provision of specialized instruction to meet the requirements of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
