Catalog description

A foundation course designed to prepare educators to serve the needs of English Learners (EL) grades K-8. Includes Structured English Immersion (SEI) models and the Arizona Language Development Approach with emphasis on asset based behaviors and expectations, integrated and targeted English Language Development (ELD) instruction, assessment monitoring and feedback. Also covers legal and historical foundations and current issues.
