Application of skills and knowledge gained in CTT coursework in an internship in a dealership environment. Develops professional skills required of Caterpillar service technician. Provides experience in tool usage, shop safety, connective devices, computers and service information systems, air intake and exhaust systems, lubrication systems, cooling systems, fuel systems, engines, and electrical systems. Requires intern to complete a list of learning objectives, keep a logbook, and be evaluated by dealership supervisor and internship coordinator.
