Catalog description

Advanced skills for the interior/exterior application of lathing materials. Wall anatomy terminology, applicable codes, lathing materials, and waterproofing methods. Includes key discussions to draw attention to typical installation issues, causes, and solutions frequently employed to correct flaws. Detailed project drawing review, providing practical experience for design analysis, material requirement, and code assessment. Emphasis on construction sequence will foster the development of job planning, preparation, and applied math skills. Importance of applicable building codes, tool use, safety, accuracy, construction sequence, and proper use of waterproofing techniques will be stressed during lathing exercises.
