Overview of medical device regulatory requirements, the role of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and classification of medical devices including Humanitarian Device Exemptions. Special emphasis on conduct of an investigational study and roles of the investigator, CRC, and the IRB. Prerequisites: None.
