Catalog description

Examines and applies the foundational principles of ironworking, including safety practices and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Topics include the proper use of tools and fastening methods, mobile construction equipment, rigging techniques, and interpreting trade drawings. Students will also learn and apply cutting methods, the principles of structural steel and welding, metal decking and field fabrication safety.
