Advanced anatomy and massage. Focus on the skeletal and muscular components and manipulations of the lower body. Review all of the bones and muscles of the lower body and the kinesiology that develops from their interactions. Practical application of advanced anatomy in deep-tissue massage for the lower body. Includes client assessment, treatment planning, and documentation for clients with common needs and clients with unique needs (such as athletes, expecting mothers, infants, older adults, obese individuals, people with disabilities, and end of life care). Also includes entrepreneurial skills conducive to the industry of massage therapy.
