In this course, the algebraic concepts that are introduced in MTH 086 are developed further. The topics include evaluating square roots, simplifying algebraic expressions, translating English phrases into algebraic expressions, solving linear equations and their applications, as well as graphing linear equations in the rectangular coordinate system.
