Ethics in the Pediatric Health Care Setting

Catalog description

This course will examine ethics in pediatric healthcare settings, as they relate to broad concepts of ethics and the CLC/ACLP Code of Ethics. Further, it will explore more deeply the principles and challenges of ethics of this field. A variety of scenarios will be used to further understand the range of issues and situations that may arise, as well as how to assess, process and amend relationships and situations that may interfere with professional integrity and responsibilities to oneself, children and families, and/or colleagues in the pediatric setting.
