Catalog description

This course continues the study of AC and DC circuits beyond the introduction to AC/DC Circuits and is more mathematical in nature that the previous course. Topics include network theorems, filters, networks, and transformers. Kirchhoff's laws, Thevenin's theorem, and Norton's theorem will also be covered. The lab portion develops skills in fabricating circuits, reading schematic diagrams, measuring circuit parameters, and troubleshooting circuit faults. Computer simulation software is used to predict values in various circuits and to verify results through hands-on experimentation.
