Catalog description

This course seamlessly combines advanced critical thinking and decision-making skills with the practical application of theoretical frameworks, concepts, and models relevant to respiratory therapy practice, leadership, and management. Students will immerse themselves in the role of the professional therapist in clinical a setting of their choice under the supervision of a clinical preceptor. The course is designed to empower BSRT students to explore and cultivate the multifaceted competencies essential for becoming proficient professional leaders in healthcare. It emphasizes a heightened awareness of the contextual factors influencing respiratory therapy practice across various clinical environments. Prerequisites: Core Program Courses.
