Catalog description

This advanced course will provide students with a generalist understanding of the field of forensic psychology. Topics will include but are not limited to the role of psychology in civil and criminal law; criminal profiling and behavior analysis; policing; violence and psychopathology, including juvenile justice; victimology; prevention and intervention related to forensic psychology; and the forensic ethics code and its implications. Students will explore the applied role of forensic psychologists across various settings. This course was previously HDV-284164.
