Catalog description

This course introduces students to Industrial and Organizational (IO) Psychology, the scientific discipline focusing on understanding human behavior in the workplace. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and practical applications, students will explore how psychological principles can be utilized to enhance individual and organizational performance, satisfaction, and well-being in diverse work settings. Students will examine a broad spectrum of topics including employee motivation, job satisfaction, leadership effectiveness, organizational culture, personnel selection, training and development, performance appraisal, change management, and work-life balance.
