Comparative Politics ((4 Credits))

Catalog description

Comparative Politics is the study of domestic political systems around the world. Specifically, students will consider various approaches to the comparative study of political systems, institutions, forms of government, ideologies and practices. Possible themes include: globalization, political economy, political violence, and the characteristics of developed and developing countries. Students will gain an understanding of global studies and be able to analyze and evaluate past, present and future geopolitical issues from a comparative perspective and their impact on wellbeing and sustainability.
