The online Nursing Education Capstone course is the culminating requirement of the Master of Nursing in Education program, engaging students in didactic, clinical, and online activities. These experiences provide a framework for examining the Nurse Educator role and competencies while preparing students for advanced nursing practice care. In collaboration with qualified nurse preceptors, students will complete a 45-hour practicum divided between academic and direct clinical practice experiences to enhance their knowledge and expertise in a clinical area. This practicum allows learners to synthesize and apply the knowledge, skills, and behaviors acquired throughout the program. This course was previously NUR-560900.
