Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the most important operations and supply chain issues that manufacturers and service providers should consider when producing goods or delivering services. It also provides the concepts, tools, and methods that managers use to deal with operations and supply chain management problems in the business environment. Through this course, students will develop the ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analytical management tools and techniques in business decision-making. Topics include operations strategy, process strategy and analysis, quality and performance management, lean systems, capacity and constraint management, inventory management, and supply chain management with a particular focus on supply chain design, integration, and sustainability.
