Catalog description
This course provides an intellectual and experiential forum for developing the interpersonal and intercultural communication and interaction skills necessary for successful development or implementation of international assignments. While learning to identify cultural aspects of verbal and nonverbal behavior of persons from different cultures and themselves, students will come to recognize cultural differences that can cause difficulties in management situations. Other important topics include analyzing the working of multi-cultural teams, dimensions of cross-cultural negotiations and competencies of cosmopolitan leaders.
