This internship course provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to apply management theories, practices, and skills within an organizational environment. Students will engage in substantive work activities within core management functions while examining the strategic role of management. This experiential learning opportunity enables students to bridge academic knowledge with professional practice while advancing their career readiness. Students must secure an approved internship placement through collaboration with their mentor and career services in advance of the internship term. If this internship is at your current place of employment, students need to seek approval and should contact the MGMT/HRMS department chair before registering for the course. A supervisory contact at the internship site will need to be provided to the instructor for contact, as needed. Prerequisites: Completion of foundational management coursework such as MGMT 1005 , MGMT 3060 or equivalent learning.
