Catalog description

The theory of complex variables is elegant and rich in applications. Also known as Complex Analysis, this is primarily a proof-based study of functions of a single complex variable. Complex variables enjoy a wide range of applications, which appear in engineering and the physical sciences. Complex Analysis also applies elegantly to other sub-fields of mathematics, such as Number Theory and Partial Differential Equations. This course contains elements which rely on vision to complete.
