Catalog description
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more integrated into our lives, it is important to understand not only how it works but also how it impacts society. In this course, students will learn the basics of AI technologies and get practical experience with AI tools that generate content. They will consider the ethical and social challenges that AI brings, such as issues of bias and privacy. Students will explore how AI fits into society, learn to assess the reliability of AI-generated information, and think about responsible online engagement. By the end of the course, students will have a solid introduction to current AI technologies and be prepared to learn more about future developments.
