Refugees and Displaced Populations ((4 Credits))

Catalog description

This course will examine refugees and displaced populations around the world. Policies, rights, programs, psychoeducational and therapeutic interventions, urban environments, and resettlement will be explored. The differences between refugees, immigrants, victims of trafficking, asylees, and internally displaced people will be considered. This course is aligned with the Community and Human Services area of study guidelines for Knowledge of Service Delivery, Diversity, and Skills & Application.
