The Call to Service ((4 Credits))

Catalog description

Many people in the helping professions say they are called to their work and feel a deep satisfaction about helping. Others are not sure why they want to "do human services". This course will explore the question, "Do I have to be called to service in the human services profession?" The framework for understanding the motivation of helpers will be explored. This course is aligned with the Community and Human Services Area of Study guidelines for Knowledge of Service Delivery.
