Empire State University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
The internship is an opportunity for a student to apply the theories and methods of their field to a real-world experience. The internship often serves as a learning opportunity for a future career in a relevant field and a gateway to further delineate professional goals and expectations. Students should work independently, with their mentor, and with career services well in advance of the internship term to find an internship opportunity that meets their specific needs and fits within their degree program and college level appropriateness. An internship may only be completed with the approval of the student's mentor. Course may be repeated for credit.
