Catalog description

This study provides an introduction to the theories, principles, and concepts which are broadly related to the functioning of natural environmental systems and which are essential for understanding specific issues related to human use of resources and human interaction with the environment. The topics covered include the laws of matter and energy; ecosystems; evolutionary theory; species characteristics and speciation; population biology; climate and biomes; and air, water, soil, and energy resources. This course contains elements which rely on vision and motor skills to complete.
