Catalog description

This upper-level course prepares aspiring K–12 educators to engage professionally and ethically with emerging technologies in schools. Students examine current trends and innovations in educational technology through the lens of professional standards, neuroscience, cyber ethics, digital citizenship, data privacy, and equitable practice. Emphasis is placed on developing the knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills necessary to evaluate and implement technology responsibly in diverse classroom settings. Students analyze real-world cases, policies, and frameworks that shape professional conduct in digitally mediated learning environments. Prerequisites: EDST 3075 .
