This upper-level Economics Internship allows students to apply intermediate and advanced economic theories in real-world workplace, business, or policy contexts. Students analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate decisions using frameworks such as elasticity, market structures, and cost-benefit analysis. They may complete applied projects or case studies related to their professional setting. The internship emphasizes analytical tools, including spreadsheets, to support evidence-based conclusions. Students develop independence, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. This experience connects economic theory to practice and prepares students for advanced roles or further study in economics. Prerequisites: ECON 2015 Macroeconomic, and ECON 2020 Microeconomics, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
