This innovative course empowers business students with advanced insights into the global economy through generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)-augmented tools. Students will engage in hands-on experiential learning to understand and navigate the complexities of cross-border trade and international economy, focusing on how global trends impact local businesses. The course provides practical skills in using advanced Generative AI tools, such as custom GPT copilots, to make informed decisions and strategies in the global market. By leveraging AI-driven analysis, students will acquire cutting-edge skills at the forefront of AI applications in business economics. By completing this course, students will meet the "Understanding Organizations within Broader Contexts" guideline. An introductory course in either macroeconomics or microeconomics is highly desirable prior to taking this course. Prior experience with introductory generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Google Gemini is highly recommended. No coding experience is required. Prerequisites: ECON2005, or ECON2010, or ECON2015.
