Catalog description

In this specialized course, students in the early childhood education teacher preparation program will examine professionalism and ethics, and investigate program requirements including NYSED and SUNY General Education Requirements. Students will analyze personal, academic, and career goals and the relationships among these goals. Students will think ahead to identify practicum placements and examine student teaching assignments and the role of self-assessment in teaching. Please note: This course is restricted to ECE students and should be taken in the first term of the program. As a required program course, a grade of C+ or above is required.
