Catalog description

This course covers adolescent development as it relates to the 7 - 12 educational context. Topics that are covered include physical development, developmental learning theories, personal, social and emotional development, learner differences, social cognition, behaviorism, information processing, constructing and assessing understanding, and creating positive classroom learning environments.
