Catalog description
This internship course provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to apply general business principles, relevant theories, cross-functional practices, and foundational skills within a business environment. Students will engage in substantive work activities across various business operations while examining strategic business objectives. This internship learning opportunity enables students to apply learned academic knowledge to analyze and resolve real-world business issues and problems while advancing their business career readiness. A student must develop a learning contract (LC) with their faculty mentor/academic advisor and workplace supervisor before the internship begins. Prerequisites: Introduction to Business, Business Communication, Business Law, and Computer Applications in Business, or proof of equivalent knowledge is required.
