Catalog description

Watercolor Painting is an advanced study presenting the technical and aesthetic aspects of this creative art form, along with some of its historical and contemporary practitioners. The hands-on practice of color theory will be featured as a way to apply theory to practice. Students are required to work solely on paper using traditional tools such as brushes, rulers, and pencils; and have the ability to photograph their work for group discussions and assignments. Prerequisites: Introduction to Drawing OR Drawing into Painting OR the equivalent.
