Psychological Conceptions of Giftedness

Catalog description

This is an exploration of giftedness and talent. Students will critically examine I.Q. tests as well as measures of creativity and learn how genes, the environment, culture, gender/gender identity, ethnicity, and class affect whether someone will be seen as gifted. Students will also learn about the talents of non-humans such as monkeys and apes.
