Catalog description

This course studies mathematical methods useful for students interested in the physical sciences and engineering. Topics covered include linear algebra (determinants, linear vector spaces, eigenvalues and eigenfunctions); the divergence, gradient, and curl operators; Gauss and Stokes theorems; orthogonal coordinate systems; infinite power series; complex number and variables; Fourier analysis.
