Catalog description

Elementary course covering the principles of mechanics, heat, thermodynamics, and wave motion. The student is expected to be competent in algebra, trigonometry, and plane geometry. Methods of calculus are introduced and used where appropriate. Four hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week.
