Catalog description
This course is designed to increase the students' knowledge and appreciation of cheerleading. A variety of moves will be taught to improve mobility, coordination, rhythm and overall athleticism. The course focuses on basic cheer components such as motions, jumps, chants, cheers & dances. Students will also learn the importance of other fitness related topics such as a proper warm up, stretching, cool down, flexibility, balance, rest and recovery.
