This course applies microeconomics to healthcare markets, with a focus on the financing and delivery of care. It explores the role of uncertainty in healthcare markets and individual decision making and includes an examination of public policies including current issues. While the focus is on the U.S. healthcare system, some time is spent on international comparisons.
