Data Science for Economists

Catalog description

This course will examine methods of collection, presentation, and analysis of economic data. Measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, estimation, and hypothesis testing will be at the center of discussions of how economists analyze research problems. Regression analysis will be introduced (time permitting).
