Catalog description

Broad overview of uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) design. Survey major UAS sub-systems including airframe, propulsion, power, communication, embedded computer hardware/software, detect-and-avoid, automation, and ground control station. Literature and case studies exploring current engineering practices, technologies used, and past lessons learned. Culminates with development of design specification for a UAS given requirements specification and knowledge acquired in the course.
