Catalog description

The selected topic is an important component of Emergency Management (EM). This course will analyze those critical issues to prepare the whole community for effective response, including disaster planning, training, and exercises. Students will also learn the tools to evaluate and analyze the current emergency operations plans in order to identify inconsistencies and gaps and make recommendations for improvement based on analysis of state of the art and best practices in related academic and professional disciplines.
