Project management concepts and principles in the aviation/aerospace industry are addressed by the ten knowledge areas of project management: integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholders. Process areas of initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of projects are utilized as strategies for developing projects in an aviation/aerospace environment. Project management software is utilized as appropriate.
