Catalog description
Emphasis on the air traffic controller (human being) as the major human causative agent in aircraft accidents and incidents. Concentration is placed on the psychological and physiological factors that increase the accident probability. Performance limitations of air traffic controllers are examined to assess how these limitations are impacted by different variables in the ATC environment. Investigation into human factors that lead to human error mitigation using strategies in efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
