Catalog description

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in MTH 230 ^ Topics include linear equations of first order, linear equations with constant coefficients, general linear differential equations, variation of parameters, the method of undetermined coefficients, linear independence and the Wronskian, exact equations, separation of variables, and various applications of these. In addition, the course covers systems of linear differential equations, the Laplace transform, series methods in solving differential equations, and an introduction to boundary value problems.
