Prerequisite: Reading: Grade of C or better in RDG 091 or LTC 099, or satisfaction of other placement criteria. Writing: Grade of C or better in ENG 098 or LTC 099 or satisfaction of other placement criteria.+ ^ A survey of selected examples of musical, artistic and literary contributions European culture has made to world civilization from pre-history to the Renaissance. This multi-disciplined study is designed to assist students in the recognition and fundamental understanding of the continuity of elements of the European past with their own contemporary culture.
