Writing: Grade of C or better in ENG 098 or LTC 099 or satisfaction of other placement criteria. Math: Grade of C or better in MTH 098 or MTH 099, or satisfaction of other placement criteria.+ Recommended: ECN 201 Principles of Microeconomics ^ A basic course introducing the core macroeconomic terms and models applied to the study of the U.S. economy. The class includes an overview of the economic way of thinking, the description of the key macroeconomic variables, basic models to analyze changes in the level of real output and in the price level, the role of money and the financial system, economic policies and their implications, and international economics.
