Prerequisite: None ^ This course will guide new students in learning effective strategies and identifying resources that will help them be successful in college. Key components of COL 101 include: responsibility for learning, self-awareness, success skills, and college resources.(1.1) Proficiency Credit Not Available Pass/No Credit Not Available SPECIAL NOTE: Students attending college for the first-time are strongly encouraged to complete this course. ECC research shows students who complete COL 101 early in their college careers have higher GPAs and are more likely to complete their goals than students who do not complete this course.
