Prerequisite: None Recommended: CIS 110 ^ This course provides students with an overview of digital forensics techniques and investigation process. It focuses on the use of the most popular forensics tools and provides specific guidance on the investigation process of matters relating to the law and technology. Topics include the representation of data, preserving data, recovering data from multiple sources, and legal issues unique to digital forensics investigations process.The course also assists students in establishing the basis for preparing for a certification in digital forensics.
