Catalog description
This is the fourth course in four-semester calculus-based physics sequence intended for students entering majors in engineering and the physical sciences. The topics covered include geometric and physical optics, special relativity, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, and selected topics in modern physics. *Note: The maximum UC credit allowed for students completing Physics 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D and Physics 2A, 2B and/or Physics 3A, 3B is one series.
