Catalog description

This is an introductory course in developing digital 3D models for animation, video games, pre-visualization, and VFX. Focus is placed on understanding underlying topology and geometry concerns, while polygonal modeling with 3D digital tools. The concepts of form, light, and texture will be explored through materials, texture painting, and rendering. Industry-standard low and high poly modeling methods, including subdivision and basic sculpting, are all explored.
