Students may choose from the following options: o 4 Week Rotations: Cardiac Care Unit (CCC), Family Medicine with Inpatient, Infectious Disease, Inpatient Cardiology, Inpatient Internal Medicine (Hospitalist), Inpatient Pulmonology, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatology, Nephrology, Pediatric Critical Care (PICU), Sub- internship Family Medicine, Sub-internship Internal Medicine, Sub-internship Pediatric, and Trauma Intensive Care. This list may not be all-inclusive, and students may seek approval for additional Intensive Medicine Selective alternatives to the Associate Dean. • (MED 8215/8216) Medical Selective: 4 credit hours Students must seek Associate Dean approval for any rotation that is less than the required length as specified below. If a site only offers a shorter rotation, the student must submit verification from the site that a longer rotation in the specialty is not offered.
