The Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency Center for Domestic Preparedness Emergency Medical Response Awareness for CBRNE Incidents course is a competency-based, awareness-level course that introduces concepts and principles to prepare health professionals for the management of injuries and illnesses caused by disasters and public health emergencies. The purpose of this course is to provide emergency medical responders and healthcare clinicians with knowledge in on-scene and hospital-based triage and treatment of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) victims in a mass casualty incident. •
